Impact Advisors EHR Service Desk Coordination: How You Opt In
Program: Impact Advisors EHR Service Desk Coordination · Last updated: September 8, 2026
This page documents the only way a person is enrolled in the Impact Advisors EHR Service Desk Coordination text message program: verbal consent given to your assigned Impact Advisors consultant during engagement onboarding. The program is run by Impact Advisors, LLC, a healthcare IT consulting firm in Naperville, Illinois, for staff at hospital and health-system clients whom our EHR (electronic health record) service desk consultants support under a signed engagement. Below are the steps, the exact script the consultant reads, the roster entry that is our record of your consent (shown with placeholder values; no real names or numbers appear on this page), the confirmation text you receive, and the disclosures that apply. The roster entry is retained as described in our privacy statement. We publish this page so that you and your organization can see how consent is collected. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving services from Impact Advisors.
Enrollment steps
Step 1. Your assigned consultant meets with you during engagement onboarding, in person, by video, or by phone. This is the same session where you learn how to reach the service desk and how tickets are worked.
Step 2. The consultant reads the consent script below word for word. The script (version 1.0, September 2026) is a line item on the engagement onboarding checklist, so every consultant reads the same text.
Step 3. You say whether you agree. If you agree, you give the consultant the business mobile number you want us to use. If you decline, the consultant notes 'declined' on the roster, no number is recorded, and you continue to receive support by phone, email, and the ticketing portal exactly as before.
Step 4. During the session, the consultant records your consent in the engagement contact roster, an access-controlled record maintained by Impact Advisors for each client engagement: your name, your organization, your role, your business mobile number, the consultant's name and business number, the date and time, method = verbal (script read), the script version, and who recorded it. The roster is kept in the engagement's controlled document library and is available to the Impact Advisors service desk leads.
Step 5. The consultant sends you the confirmation text quoted below from their Impact Advisors business number. It is the first text you receive from us and is sent during the onboarding session, right after the roster entry is made.
Step 6. No other text is sent to your number until Steps 4 and 5 are complete and there is activity on your own ticket or session. Consultants text only numbers that appear on the roster with an active consent record.
Step 7. You can reply STOP at any time. Our messaging platform honors STOP automatically, you receive one final confirmation text, and the consultant marks your roster entry 'opted out' with the date. We do not text that number again unless you re-enroll by repeating Steps 2 through 5 with your consultant. A keyword reply alone does not put a number on the roster.

I am [consultant name] with the Impact Advisors EHR Service Desk. As part of this engagement I would like to be able to text you from my Impact Advisors business number about the support tickets you open with us and the training or working sessions we schedule together. The texts will come only from the Impact Advisors EHR Service Desk, and every text will begin with those words. Message frequency varies; most people receive a few texts a week while they have an open ticket or an upcoming session, and none otherwise. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply HELP at any time for help or email engineering@impact-advisors.com, and you can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Agreeing is not a condition of receiving support from us. The program terms are published at smsprivacy.impact-advisors.com/terms and the privacy statement at smsprivacy.impact-advisors.com/privacy. Do you agree to receive these text messages, and if so, which business mobile number should I use?

Additional notes
Verbal consent during engagement onboarding is the only way to join this program. There is no web form, paper form, or QR code enrollment, we do not import numbers from client directories, and a keyword reply alone does not put a number on the roster.
The roster table above is an illustrative record with placeholder values. No real names or numbers are shown.
Texts come from a dedicated Impact Advisors business number assigned to your consultant. If your assigned consultant changes, the roster is updated and the new consultant's first text identifies them by name.
Do not text patient names, medical record numbers, or other patient identifiers. Consultants will ask you to place those details in the ticketing system instead.
